Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 27 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Found in Character website.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

1. About Found in Character

Found in Character is a founder-led hospitality brand narrative and digital guest-journey studio operated by Harry Michael.

The studio works with hospitality businesses on areas including brand narrative, digital guest journeys, website content, search-informed content strategy and guest communications, according to the scope of the service commissioned.

Further legal or business-registration information will be added where applicable.

2. Purpose of this website

This website provides information about Found in Character, its approach, services, portfolio work and ways to make an enquiry.

Information on this website is provided for general informational and commercial purposes. Visiting the website, reading portfolio material or submitting an enquiry does not by itself create a client relationship, consultancy engagement or contractual obligation between you and Found in Character.

A client engagement begins only when the applicable commercial and commencement requirements for the relevant service have been completed.

3. Services, prices and availability

The website may describe services currently offered by Found in Character, including their scope, price, estimated delivery period and important exclusions.

The services shown are alternative levels of support. Purchasing one service does not automatically require or entitle a client to purchase another.

Prices displayed on the website are stated in euros unless otherwise indicated.

Where a price is identified as a founding price, it applies subject to the conditions stated for that offer.

Submitting an enquiry does not reserve availability or guarantee acceptance of a project.

Found in Character may decline an enquiry where the requested work falls outside the studio's scope, capacity or expertise, or where the engagement is otherwise not considered an appropriate fit.

The precise scope, payment arrangements, commencement requirements and delivery conditions applying to commissioned work will be confirmed separately before an engagement begins.

4. Enquiries

Information submitted through the enquiry form is used to assess the request and determine an appropriate next step.

Found in Character aims to provide an initial response within one business day. This means an acknowledgement and clear next step; it does not guarantee a completed proposal, recommendation or consultation within one business day.

Depending on the enquiry, the next step may include:

  • confirmation of an appropriate service;

  • targeted clarification questions;

  • an invitation to a qualification discussion; or

  • an explanation that the request falls outside the studio's standard scope.

Submitting an enquiry does not create an obligation for either party to proceed.

Personal information submitted through the enquiry process is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

5. Client engagements

These website Terms are not intended to replace the specific terms governing commissioned client work.

Where Found in Character and a client agree to proceed with an engagement, the applicable proposal, scope confirmation, service agreement or other written engagement terms will govern that project.

Where there is a conflict between these website Terms and a signed client agreement relating to a specific engagement, the signed client agreement will take precedence for that engagement.

6. Portfolio and independent work

Some work presented on this website has been created independently for portfolio and demonstration purposes and was not commissioned by the properties featured.

Independent portfolio work will be identified as such.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, independent portfolio studies:

  • do not represent a client relationship or endorsement;

  • have not been commissioned, approved or reviewed by the property featured;

  • do not claim that the recommendations were implemented;

  • do not claim commercial or operational results arising from the work; and

  • may be based on publicly available information and conceptual analysis.

Any additional limitations or disclosures applying to an individual study will be stated on the relevant project page or document.

The appearance of a hotel, property or other third-party name on this website does not by itself indicate an affiliation, partnership or client relationship with Found in Character.

7. No guarantee of commercial results

Strategy, narrative, content, search-informed recommendations and guest-journey work can contribute to commercial objectives, but performance depends on many factors outside the studio's control.

Nothing on this website should be interpreted as a guarantee of:

  • search rankings;

  • website traffic;

  • conversion rates;

  • direct bookings;

  • revenue;

  • occupancy;

  • reduced reliance on online travel agencies; or

  • any other particular commercial outcome.

Examples, strategic recommendations and conceptual applications demonstrate an approach or potential direction rather than a promise of future performance.

Where measured client results are published in the future, their evidence status and relevant limitations will be identified appropriately.

8. Website content

Reasonable care is taken to keep information on this website clear and accurate.

However, website content may occasionally become incomplete or outdated, particularly where services, availability, technology, pricing or legal requirements change.

Found in Character may correct, update or remove website content where necessary.

Nothing published on this website constitutes legal, tax, financial or other regulated professional advice.

9. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the original text, strategy, structure, presentation, graphics and other original material created for this website are owned by or licensed for use by Found in Character and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the website for ordinary personal or internal business evaluation.

You may not, without prior written permission:

  • reproduce substantial portions of the website for commercial use;

  • republish or sell Found in Character materials;

  • present Found in Character's original work as your own;

  • remove attribution or disclosure information from portfolio materials;

  • systematically extract or reproduce website content; or

  • use the website or portfolio to create misleading claims about a relationship with Found in Character.

Reasonable sharing of a link to the website or an individual publicly available page is permitted.

Specific ownership and usage rights relating to commissioned client deliverables will be governed by the applicable client agreement.

10. Third-party names and materials

Hotel names, trademarks, photographs, websites and other third-party materials referenced on this website remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.

Their inclusion for commentary, analysis, identification or portfolio context does not imply ownership, sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation.

Independent case studies will contain appropriate disclosures explaining their status.

11. Third-party websites and services

This website may link to third-party websites or services.

These links may be provided for reference, portfolio context or convenience. Found in Character does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, privacy practices or subsequent changes.

A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement or commercial relationship.

12. External specialists

Some client requirements may involve expertise outside Found in Character's standard scope, such as technical SEO, website development, booking-engine configuration, paid advertising or other specialist implementation.

Where appropriate, a client may work with its existing provider or with an independent specialist identified separately.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, an independent specialist is not an employee of Found in Character and remains responsible for their own services, fees, work, results and delivery.

13. Acceptable use

You must not knowingly use this website:

  • unlawfully or fraudulently;

  • to interfere with its security or normal operation;

  • to introduce malicious software or harmful material;

  • to attempt unauthorised access to the website or associated systems;

  • to submit deliberately false, abusive or harmful information through website forms; or

  • to infringe the intellectual-property or other rights of Found in Character or a third party.

14. Website availability

Found in Character does not guarantee that this website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from technical errors.

Access may occasionally be suspended or restricted for maintenance, security, platform changes or circumstances outside the studio's reasonable control.

15. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Found in Character is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general website information, independent portfolio concepts, third-party websites or services, or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Specific responsibilities and limitations relating to commissioned professional services will be governed by the applicable client agreement.

16. Privacy and cookies

Personal information collected through this website is handled according to the Privacy Policy.

The website may also use necessary and, where permitted, optional cookies or similar technologies. Relevant controls and information will be provided through the website where required.

17. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated where the website, studio, services, technology, business structure or applicable requirements change.

The current version will be published on this page and the Last updated date will be revised when material changes are made.

18. Governing law

The governing-law and jurisdiction provisions applicable to these Terms will be finalised before commercial launch once the studio's legal operating structure has been confirmed.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
